At Nopal Loco Tours, we strive to offer seamless, highly personalized, and reliable private tour experiences in Guadalajara and Jalisco. Because our tours are 100% private, we reserve dedicated expert guides, vehicles, and partner venues exclusively for your scheduled date and time.
This policy applies exclusively to direct bookings made through our official website (nopallocotours.com), email, or direct WhatsApp communications.
1. Direct Booking Cancellation Terms
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. For direct bookings, our standard cancellation schedule is structured as follows:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before tour start time: Full refund (100% money back, minus any non-refundable payment processing fees levied by third-party gateways like Stripe or PayPal).
- Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before tour start time: 50% refund of the total booking value.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before tour start time: Non-refundable (0% refund).

2. Rescheduling & Flexibility
We are always happy to accommodate changes to your schedule whenever possible:
Free Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule your private tour up to 24 hours prior to the original departure time at no additional charge, subject to guide and venue availability.
Date Adjustments within 24 Hours: Requests made within 24 hours of departure will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on guide scheduling and booked venue entry tickets.
3. No-Shows & Late Arrivals
- No-Show Policy: If guests do not arrive at the designated meeting point within 30 minutes of the agreed start time without prior notice, the tour will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.
- Late Arrivals: If you anticipate a delay, please contact us immediately. As these are 100% private tours, we will do our best to adjust the schedule; however, late arrivals may result in a shortened itinerary to respect subsequent bookings or venue closing hours.
4. Weather & Force Majeure Cancellations
- Severe Weather Conditions: Our urban walking tours and charters operate rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather or official safety alerts, we will offer you the choice to reschedule for an alternative date or receive a 100% full refund.
- Unforeseen Closures: If a primary landmark or venue on your itinerary is unexpectedly closed due to government events or religious holidays, we will offer a high-value alternative stop or adjust the route with your consent.
5. Third-Party Platform Bookings (Viator, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide)
Please note that this policy applies only to direct reservations made through our official channels.
If you booked your tour through a third-party Online Travel Agency (OTA) such as Viator, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, or Expedia, your reservation is strictly governed by the specific cancellation and refund terms of that platform. All cancellation requests, refund claims, or modifications for third-party bookings must be processed directly through the platform where the booking was originally placed.
